December 2021 E-news: Boxpark Shoreditch & Oxo Tower Shows
Boxpark Shoreditch Pop Up Highlights 💥 15th-21st November
It was great to host my first solo London exhibition and pop up shop for a week at Boxpark Shoreditch in mid-November, displaying a huge range of original paintings, prints, merchandise, clothing, videos and even a By Kerwin Christmas tree!
Boxpark was the world’s first pop up shopping mall and is made up of over 60 repurposed shipping containers, bringing high street shopping, fashion, culture, food, events – and now art – under one roof.
Thank you to everyone who visited me in my converted shipping container and those who purchased artwork, as well as for all the support online. Take a look at the photos at www.bykerwin.com/exhibitions.

Roy’s Art Fair at The Oxo Tower ⭐ 25-28 November
In November I also exhibited at another iconic location – the Oxo Tower Bargehouse on London’s Southbank for Roy’s Art Fair between 25-28 November. This was another intensive 4 day art fair where I was one of 80 independent artists on display. This was my sixth and last art display of 2021 across London & Norwich so it was great to end with another busy few days in the lead up to Christmas.

2020 Throwback – 1 Year Since my Debut By Kerwin Art Exhibition at The Forum, Norwich
In December 2020 – in the midst of the pandemic and in between lockdowns – I displayed my entire range of action painted artwork for the first time at The Forum, Norwich between 4-13th December. With much of the arts industry closed or furloughed, I had decided the only way to exhibit and launch my brand in 2020 would be to organise my own exhibition – which I titled ‘Lights, Canvas, Action’. I displayed my entire range of paintings along with TV and painting videos and my neon sign for the first time. I even had a red carpet too!
I booked this space in the centre of my hometown Norwich and – as well as being freezing cold as all the doors had to be open all the time for ventilation – it provided a great platform to meet big crowds of Christmas shoppers – many of whom were making their first shopping trip in months. It was my first exhibition for 8 years.
This was a great few days, providing some valuable exposure and artwork sales – including the original Elvis, The Who and Ian Brown paintings, as well as a Radio Norfolk interview! Take a look at some of the pictures and listen to my two interviews live from the exhibition below or on my website: www.bykerwin.com/exhibitions.
