June 2022 E-news: New York City 🇺🇸⭐ That’s a Wrap!

The Other Art Fair, Brooklyn, June 2 – 5

Last weekend I had the pleasure of exhibiting my artwork internationally for the first time, in New York City at Saatchi Art’s The Other Art Fair. My Jackson Pollock (who developed his signature style in New York many decades ago) inspired pop art was on display between Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June to thousands of visitors at the Knockdown Center in Queens.

I flew my most iconic American original paintings and prints across the pond – I figured some of my British music icons would be wasted on the U.S. crowd (I’ll leave you to decide which ones..). It was great to exhibit alongside 130 other emerging international artists of all styles – the level of talent on display this time was incredible. Take a look at some pictures below!

The top two rows on my stand are original acrylic paintings – the bottom row (and Jimi Hendrix) are prints.

Jubilee Celebrations in N.Y.C. 🇬🇧👑

I hope everyone had a great Platinum Jubilee long weekend if you were celebrating. I was lucky enough to be invited to the British Consulate in New York’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 4th June which featured a garden party followed by a silent disco with Mark Ronson at New York’s Lincoln Center. Hearing his set end with his and Amy Winehouse‘s Valerie was one of many surreal moments during the trip. Note the British flags on my art fair booth to mark the occasion as well.
