The By Kerwin Art House & Disco Mix by Danny Blackburn DJ
Announcing the By Kerwin Art Exhibition House & Disco DJ Mix, exclusively produced by Danny Blackburn DJ
“Art should be enjoyed just as music is enjoyed” – Jackson Pollock
I am excited to share the upbeat By Kerwin Art Exhibition House & Disco Mix, featuring tracks by artists that I have painted as part of my By Kerwin pop art paintings collection.
I recently tasked my cousin Danny Blackburn – a Manchester-based DJ who operates across North West UK and has founded live music events business Make Music Memories – to curate and produce a playlist featuring tracks by the music artists I have painted as part of my By Kerwin collection that can be played as the perfect soundtrack to my art exhibitions.
Danny and myself are very excited to share the result – so sit back and enjoy almost 80 minutes of upbeat and stylish remixes of classics by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Bob Marley, Amy Winehouse, Blondie, Prince, Drake and SO many more of your favourite icons!
Have a listen via the SoundCloud player above and let me know what you think!
Huge thanks to Danny for this incredible, unique piece of work – I simply gave give a list of music artists to work with and he did the rest. I would highly recommend checking out his work online and contacting him with any DJ or live music events ideas or enquiries you have. Or you get in touch if you want him to produce your own custom playlist for you or your event!
The launch of the By Kerwin Art Exhibition House & Disco Mix coincides with the opening of my latest solo exhibition – ‘Pop! Goes The Easel’ – which opens in Norwich on Tuesday 21st November and runs until Monday 4th December. If you’re in the area then come and take a look at my vibrant pop art paintings on display – and listen to our new DJ mix to accompany your visit!
My full range of Jackson Pollock-inspired acrylic paintings can be viewed at www.bykerwin.com – the originals and prints of these are available to purchase, with worldwide delivery. You can follow my art progress on Instagram and Facebook.
