Private View Adnams Drinks at Pop! Goes The Easel Exhibition

Opening my Crypt Gallery, Norwich Exhibition with a Private View evening sponsored by Southwold drinks brand Adnams, Wednesday 22 November 2023

My Pop! Goes The Easel art exhibition at the Crypt Gallery in Norwich was formally opened with a fun and vibrant Private View evening on Wednesday 22 November 2023, sponsored by Southwold drinks brand and distillery Adnams.

It was a great night with a fantastic turnout. Guests enjoyed Adnams-sponsored fizz to accompany their visit, and a chance to view my paintings and artwork up close. The night was also capped off with the perfect By Kerwin exhibition soundtrack – the new DJ House & Disco Mix produced by my cousin, Danny Blackburn DJ.

Adnams kindly provided the drinks for the Private View once again – after also sponsoring my Spring 2022 exhibition in the same venue. There was also leftover drink remaining to treat visitors during the course of the other exhibition days too!

Opening my Winter 2023 Exhibition in Style

The Private View evening is an art exhibition tradition – in which a select group of friends, families, art industry professionals and notable personnel are typically invited to come together at the beginning of an exhibition.

This night at Pop! Goes The Easel certainly lived up to expectations. Literally hundreds of great photos were taken on the night, which will be really helpful across my website and future blog posts, and to help boost my online presence. The warm colours of the Crypt Gallery architecture added a warmth to the photos on the evening (which was must needed in the November temperatures!).

It was also great to present my custom The Beatles hand-embellished print to the winner of the Nelson’s Journey charity auction prize on the night. Read more about this story here.

Thanks to those were able to make this, as well as anyone who visited over the course of my exhibition. Thank you of course to Adnams for providing the fizz which helped set the night off. Take a look at some of the Private View photos below.
